Dr. George Kahdy
has practiced veterinary medicine in the Knightdale area for 35 years.  He has practiced both large and small animal medicine with emphasis on general small animal medicine and surgery.  Along with his wife Martha, a 30-year guidance counselor at Lockhart Elementary School, he has raised two daughters who are both in veterinary school at NCSU.  Kathryn graduated in May of 2008 and Kristin is finished with her second year.  Along with his love of animals Dr. Kahdy has cultivated an interest in teaching Martial arts and has attained the rank of 3rd degree black belt in Karate and green belt in Ju Jitsu.  He owns and operates Knightdale Martial Arts.

Dr. Phil DeBrito
has spent the majority of his life in Wake County.  His interests in veterinary medicine were cultivated while attending North Carolina State University and he was a member of the first class of students selected to attend Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1972.  Dr, DeBrito is married to Ruth, a registered nurse, and has one son, Gary.  Presently, the rest of the family includes Kajun and Evan (horses), and BooBear, Brewski, Scoozer and Miss Priss (cats).  Dr. DeBrito spends most of his spare time fishing (Charter Boat Captain’s License), golfing, and gardening.  Dr. DeBrito has dedicated most of the past 32 years to his veterinary patients and has a keen interest in surgery and abdominal ultrasonography.

Dr. Laura Foster
, associate veterinarian, graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She is a small animal practitioner with a special interest in exotic animal medicine and has had a lot of professional and personal training in this area.  Dr. Foster has done several externships at exotic clinics and taken extra classes on the care and medicine of these unique pets.  She has also owned many of these animals herself including rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, cockatiels, turtles, frogs, snakes, lizards, hermit crabs and fish.  She currently resides in Cary, with her husband, Bill, daughter Sophie, 2 dogs, Sierra and Roscoe, and a cat, Chester.
